E-bike gearbox cover

To re-create a gearbox cover to be 3D printed for an e-bike project. Creating a 1:1 copy of this gearbox from a late 70s/early 80s Kawasaki proved challenging since it was manufactured before the dawn of CNC machines, most measurements were... rather irregular.

To recreate the gearbox cover provided by our client as faithfully as possible so they can acheive a more traditional/mechanical look for their electric bike.

The final result was possible by utilizing Fusion 360 and Rhino in tandem while also converting the file several times. Patience and calipers were the real MVPs here.
